Fiona Fernandez

Fiona Fernandez is a historian at heart with a time-traveller's soul. As Associate Editor at Mid-day and through her outspoken protagonists Sir PM and Lady Flora, in her weekly column Bombaynama, Fiona highlights Mumbai's multi-layered urban histories, the conservation of its UNESCO World Heritage Sites and its citizen champions. H for Heritage: Mumbai is her third book, the result of years of wandering through the city's known and forgotten precincts. Fiona has also written Bombay Meri Jaan and Ten Heritage Walks of Mumbai. She was co-researcher for The Mumbai Factfile and has contributed to Urban Voice 3 and The Book of Dog“
