“A beautiful autobiography covering two generations of service in the armed forces makes for a worthwhile information laden story. The writing is easy to follow and is almost a historic novel with true accounts of what happened related without any bias. I have not seen before such a nice account of the events taking place over a long period of time. As we read the book we come to understand the quality of Indian soldiers right from when they fought overseas as British soldiers to the highly successful Indian fighting force of today. We also see why the Indian soldier of today are what they are and what distinguishes them from the others they once fought side by side with; and now belong to different nations.” – Amazon Reader
