As an enthusiastic mentor, Kavita Mehta has advised applicants on MBA and undergraduate admissions for over ten years. Prior to co-founding The Red Pen, Kavita worked for PaineWebber (acquired by UBS) on Wall Street, Yahoo! in Silicon Valley and GroupM (a division of WPP) in Singapore. Kavita has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Wake Forest University, and serves on the executive committee of the Wharton Alumni Association of India. She currently resides in Mumbai with her husband and three daughters. Kimberly Wright Dixit has taught undergraduate anthropology and writing courses at Duke University; she has also taught at Stanford University as a postdoctoral teaching fellow in the humanities. Before co-founding The Red Pen, she conducted courses in anthropology at St Xavier's College and writing workshops at the American Center in Mumbai. She has over eight years of experience as an independent educational consultant for undergraduate and MBA applicants. Through her regular column in the Hindustan Times, Kim offers study-abroad tips and advice to readers across India. Kim has a PhD in Anthropology from Duke University and a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Originally from California's Central Valley, Kim has also lived in San Francisco, New York and now calls Mumbai home.
