Have heard so much about this controversial Malayalam writer especially when well known actress turned down the role in an autobiographical film. So was keen to know why. This woman through her writing shook up the patriarchal society of Kerala in unexpected ways. And the book provides that background in a well written piece of work. I find her short stories much more compelling. – Amazon Reviewer
