Reet Singh has a romantic soul. It is likely genetic, but it could be the result of her mother reading fairytales to her every night till she could read for herself. Or because at sixteen she began reading romantic fiction. Or even because her husband of twenty-eight years is the prototypical tall, dark, handsome and sensitive hero, who makes her heart pitter-patter. Whatever the reason, when the Passions competition happened Reet was ready. Now that she is writing romance it fulfils her creative side. It also brings to a full circle her romance with Mills & Boon – from reading them voraciously to writing them.
