Furthering the objective of the NCF for Foundational Stage to nurture and develop a child’s innate abilities across the five domains of physical, cognitive, socio-emotional and ethical, language and literacy, and cultural and aesthetic development, Collins has published Collins Smart Start, a full-fledged learning programme for children of the age group 3 to 8 years (Nursery to Class 2). The series aims to develop early literacy and numeracy, including learning about the alphabet, languages, numbers, counting, colours, shapes, drawing/painting, indoor and outdoor play, puzzles and logical thinking, general awareness, art, craft, music, and movement through a rich collection of colourful worksheets, divided into two terms for ease of use, and engaging digital resources.
The publishing programme also includes a brand-new English language learning course, English Expert for grades 1 to 8 that helps in developing the 3Hs – Curious Heads, Skilled Hands and Compassionate Hearts through carefully curated, literature-rich content, interspersed with experiential activities and assessments for learning. The series comes with language companions and supplementary readers for all grades.

Senses is a new course in Environmental Science for grades 1 to 5, which adheres to the seven curricular goals and twenty-five competencies identified in the NCF with a focus on developing 21st century learning skills and values to connect social, cultural, and scientific concepts with real-life situations and scenarios.
Windmills Plus, one of the best-selling semester courses from Collins, is completely revised to meet the requirements of the NCF in providing young learners with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to their educational journey during their foundational and preparatory stages.
Enhanced Science Now for grades 6 to 8 is fully revised to develop a scientific temper in students in accordance with the changes suggested in the NCF. The series includes enhanced features, such as Cognitive Corner, Life Skills, Worksheets (focusing on SDGs and India’s diverse knowledge systems) and a Supplementary Booklet that contains STEAM Activities, Skills You Need, Happiness Activity Sheets, Vernacular Names, Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and Assessments (MCQ questions tagged with difficulty levels, Bloom’s taxonomy and science learning skills), to foster experiential learning, innovative thinking, and creativity.
