Author Janhavi Prasada spoke to Amrita Tripathi about the personal stories that inspired her to write the graphic novel, Tales of a Young Gandhi. Instead of just hero worshipping and putting Gandhi on a pedestal, she hopes to make some of his life more accessible to younger readers. Kids are fascinated by the human part of him, the pranks, the jokes and what he was like as he was growing up, she says.
