2021 was a year we will remember for a long time, perhaps.
Even as all of us battled our way through the unforeseen difficulties and challenges that the times had thrown our way, we at HarperCollins India published an array of books across genres and subjects that we can be truly proud of. It was immensely rewarding to be able to bring these wonderful works to readers, and to see the appreciation and love they received. The year ended with a Publisher of the Year award for HarperCollins, a recognition that we are extremely grateful for.
As we step into the exciting times for publishing that 2022 – and the years beyond – have in store, we thought of bringing readers a quick review of some of the many titles we published in the course of 2021, in the form of two volumes comprising fiction and non-fiction samplings from our local publishing lists.
Opening Lines brings you the beginnings of many a book that we loved publishing. We hope you will like reading them all!
