Kynpham Sing Nongkynrih

Kynpham Sing Nongkynrih teaches literature at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He is the author of Around the Hearth: Khasi Legends
(2007), The Yearning of Seeds (2011), Time's Barter: Haiku and Senryu (2015), Funeral Nights (2021) and the co-editor of Dancing Earth: An Anthology of Poetry from Northeast India (2009). His haiku have appeared in journals such as Wales Haiku Journal, Frogpond, Modern Haiku, Simply Haiku, World Haiku Review, Cattails, Presence, The Heron's Nest, Asahi Haikuist Network, Planet: The Welsh Internationalist, Muse India, Kavya Bharati, The Yearning of Seeds, Dancing Earth: An Anthology of Poetry from North-East India and The HarperCollins Book of English Poetry. His awards include the first North-East Poetry Award (Tripura, 2004),
