Vijay Prashad

Vijay Prashad is professor of international studies at Trinity College, where he holds the George and Martha Kellner Chair of South Asian History. Prashad is the author of fourteen books. His book, The Poorer Nations: A Possible History of the Global South (Verso, 2012), was commended by former UN Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali as 'a contribution to the intellectual-cum-political emancipation of developing countries'. He has been published in well-known newspapers and journals. He edits a series called Dispatches.
