Meet Ms Muffet | My Best Friend’s Son’s Wedding

Share

Miss Muffet. More like Miss Spider, given the web of gossip she spins in the name of journalism. Nobody knew whether Miss Muffet was one person or a team of people, if it was a woman or a man, young or old, or some sort of bot on the Internet. We only knew Miss Muffet as a voluptuous figure in a golden dress with a slit all the way up to her thigh, seated on a barstool, holding a massive magnifying glass to her face as her hair cascaded down to her narrow waist. That was her newspaper avatar, and she wrote a column for the front page of Delhi Social Times every Sunday.

Nobody knew how Miss Muffet did it. People loved her, feared her, admired her guts and devoured her column every Sunday as if it was a fresh episode of the Game of Thrones. But unlike the last season of GoT, Miss Muffet never disappointed. Anyway, Minty was now a regular feature in it. Much to the Soods’ dismay.
