Brian Sibley has been a professional writer and a freelance broadcaster for the BBC for almost thirty years. Sibley specializes in film and children’s literature and has serialized and broadcast numerous radio and TV programs for the BBC, including: J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, C. S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia, and Gormenghast, for which he won a coveted Sony Radio Award. Sibley’s film books include the best-selling The Lord of the Rings: The Making of the Movie Trilogy and Peter Jackson: A Film-Maker’s Journey, as well as The Disney Studio Story, Mickey Mouse: His Life and Times, and The Land of Narnia. Sibley currently produces broadcasts and documentaries for BBC radio and lives in London. David Heyman contributed the introduction to the Harry Potter Film Wizardry. Heyman is the Executive Producer for the entire Harry Potter Film Franchise. He worked as a Creative Exective at Warner Bros. and as Vice President of United Artists, before founding his own production company, Heyday Films, which produced all the Harry Potter films, the CBS television series Threshold, the 2007 blockbuster I Am Legend starring Will Smith, 2008 holocaust drama The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas starring David Thewlis, and 2008’s Yes Man starring Jim Carey. He has also produced the 2008 John Crowley movie Is Anybody There?, starring Michael Caine.
