He was conferred the Padma Bhushan by the President of India in 2010 in recognition of his outstanding achievements.RAMESH MENON is a recipient of the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism. Starting as a reporter with the Times of India, he has been associate editor, India Today, roving editor, rediff.com, and executive producer, BITV and TV Today. RAMAN SWAMY is a Delhi-based journalist and writer. He has worked with the Times of India, the Economic Times, India Today and Sunday Observer.
